Getting a good designer to do a cover for a crime fiction book that aims at the feminine audience is hard work.
Absolutely nothing works. It’s either the fonts – too lad-lit type, too chunky, too in your face, so no good for the ladies. If nicely seriffed up, the cover looks too literary fiction and won’t appeal to thriller readers.
